As horror news has been incredibly slow recently, I have to resort to updates on flicks that just might rub up against the genre. Lionsgate is producing a thriller called FIVE KILLERS, which sounds like THE STRANGERS meets THE WHOLE NINE YARDS. (Appealing right?) Starring Asthon Kutcher and Katherine Heigl (two of the most obnoxious people in Hollywood), KILLERS is about a woman who meets the man of her dreams on vacation. Their honeymoon is cut short when they discover their neighbors are trying to kill them.
The film is being directed by Robert Luketic, who directed Heigl in an upcoming barf-o-rama (not the good kind) called THE UGLY TRUTH. Shooting begins in Atlanta next month.
