Who’s up for a Chilean creature-feature?
If your answer is a resounding “me,” allow us to introduce TERANTHROPUS: THE ABERRATION, an upcoming monster movie from Lucio A. Rojas and Cristian Toledo. The film will be shot next year, but that isn’t stopping us from showing you a 7-minute teaser trailer and promo sales art.
Here’s the synopsis (excuse the direct translation to English):
At the end of 1974… After September 11th, 1973 it started a bloody persecution against anybody who shows opposition to General Pinochet’s government.
A group of eight soldiers in mission to capture a small MIR squad supposed to be hidden in a remote rural zone in south of Chile.
Once in the region, they not only discover the fugitives, but also a strange creature, a laboratory hybrid between animal and human being, which is brutally killing whatever crosses its way. Soldiers and MIR militants will need to join their forces…not only to save their own lives, but also in an attempt to achieve this aberration never get out of this land…
Ah, a good old military experiment gone awry jobs…gotta love those. Now only if the actual film shows more imagination and pizzazz than that there poster. Good heavens!
