Revivals are all the rage right now, and USA Network is currently in the midst of developing a Nash Bridges movie with Don Johnson (Nash Bridges), Cheech Marin (Joe Dominguez), and Jeff Perry (Harvey Leek) reprising their roles. Now set to join them for the revival as new cast members are Diarra Kilpatrick (American Koko, The Twilight Zone), Bonnie Somerville (Code Black, Friends), Joe Dinicol (Arrow, Diary of the Dead), Alexia Garcia (Pose), Angela Ko (Rebel, Bigger) and Paul James (The Last Ship).

Nash Bridges was the title character in a CBS crime series that ran for 6 seasons and 122 episodes. Created by Carlton Cuse of Lost and Bates Motel fame, Nash Bridges co-starred Cheech Marin and gave Johnson a starring role that many viewed as a worthy successor to his iconic Miami Vice. The show revolved around Bridges, a smart-alecky San Francisco, California cop (Johnson), and his get-rich-quick scheme of a partner (Cheech Marin) who keep tabs on crime and take down the bad guys in the Bay Area.

USA Network's Nash Bridges revival is slated to be a two-hour movie instead of a new series. Kilpatrick will play Lena Harris, a police captain, and Nash's boss. Dinicol will take on the role of Steven Colton, described as a by-the-book millennial cop. Garcia will play Chloe Zane, a fearless and tech-savvy member of the SIU Unit. Ko will enter the revival as Ellie Tang, a rebellious, adrenaline junkie SIU Investigator. James will star as Keith “Philly” Morton, a tough-as-nails SIU inspector and Ellie’s partner. As for Somerville, she'll play Christina Hunter, a psychiatrist who contracts with SIU to evaluate cops.

Johnson, Bill Chais, and Marc Rosen are all behind the revival. Village Roadshow will act as producers.
