Fantastic Beasts SDCC poster lacks a certain magical style

San Diego Comic-Con is known to be a prime venue for studios to drop exclusive posters and artwork for those in attendance to soak up. On the outside, we get to take a look from the comfort of our own homes, but, if you're on the floor, you have a shot at grabbing one of these and taking them home as a collector's item of sorts.

Warner Bros. has joined in that fun this year releasing a special SDCC poster for their extension of J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World with FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM.

Now, if you're a Harry Potter completionist, then I guess you might want to get your hands on this poster. But I'm just not feeling it. It feels awfully cold and aesthetically doesn't seem to strike that magical vibe. If anything, it comes across as the kind of banner I'd find hanging in Panem during this year's annual Hunger Games.

This just feels off, but I have no doubt they'll be out of them on the floor of Comic-Con, so to each their own.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM opens on November 18.
