The second installment in the Divergent series, INSURGENT, will find Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Kate Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris’s family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Last month saw the release of an action-packed surrealist teaser, and now a full new trailer has hit to give you a little bit more to chew on.
I actually thought the teaser was pretty nifty considering I haven't seen any of the DIVERGENT films yet. Whatever you may think of this newest trailer, there's no doubts that Summit Entertainment has amassed some serious talent for these films. They're definitely focusing on action as far as this installment goes, and while the first film brought in a modest $150 million domestically, I have a feeling INSURGENT will bring in some higher numbers. Plus, Kate Winslet as a villain? Yes, please!
