Last month we got our first trailer for Terry Gilliam‘s THE ZERO THEOREM. Sadly it was taken down as quick as it was put up. I never even got the chance to see it. I’m currently making a sad face.

However, two new stills from the flick have popped up. One is a rather colorful street shot of Christoph Waltz clinging tightly to a briefcase. The second is a photo of Gilliam convening with a panel of scientists/doctors(?). The story focuses on, “A computer hacker’s goal to discover the reason for human existence continually finds his work interrupted thanks to the Management; this time, they send a teenager and lusty love interest to distract him.”

My fellow editor Alex described what he saw in the trailer as a cross between BRAZIL and TWELVE MONKEYS. For some reason I can picture that rather vividly.

THE ZERO THEOREM starring Christoph Waltz, Matt Damon, Tilda Swinton, David Thewlis Peter Stormare, and Ben Whishaw may hit the states in 2014.
