Here’s a little news from the tele for ya.

It seems that Tim Roth has locked down the lead for the television series, KNIFEMAN. I adore Tim Roth. You know what makes this better? The fact that David Cronenberg will be directing the pilot and serving as executive producer.

The series centers on, “John Tattersall (Roth), a radical, self-educated surgeon who will go to unorthodox lengths to uncover the secrets of the human body.” Another doctor in a series role for Roth, whose LIE TO ME was cancelled last year.

The show will soon be tossed about to different networks. Rolin Jones serves as writer on the series. He’s worked on UNITED STATES OF TARA, WEEDS, and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS.
