If bustin’ makes you feel good, then you’ll be absolutely ecstatic to know that GHOSTBUSTERS will be returning to theaters for a very limited run this October.

In a press release issued by Sony, the comedy classic will screen in approximately 500 theaters across the United States on October 13th, 20th, and 27th, one showtime each day. (This is no doubt a test of the brand to see what will ultimately happen with the ectoplasmic vapor project GHOSTBUSTERS 3.) The film will be projected in 2K digital with 5.1 surround sound, making this likely the best the film has ever been exhibited since its original release.

For you fans outside of the States, fret not! The film will also be showing in select theaters in Canada as well as various international markets. For more on those locations and dates, keep an eye on parkcircus.com and be sure to follow GHOSTBUSTERS on both Facebook and Twitter for info as the dates approach.
