Action veteran Bruce Willis didn’t actually see much action in Sly Stallone’s action extravaganza THE EXPENDABLES, but should a sequel come together, he’s ready for action.
And he won’t be the only one, apparently. While it’s been buzzed that Bruce could be the big bald baddie next time around, Stallone obviously has to somehow outdo the first. But how? Bulletproof wrestlers. Willis tells Coming Soon: “I talked to Sly and he’s going for all the marbles this time, and he’s going to get everybody in this time. Even Stone Cold Steve Austin who took two bullets in the last film, he’s coming back, too. Hopefully, they’ll start shooting it while we’re young enough to survive.“
So while he could be on the receiving end in EXPENDABLES 2, Bruce will be front and center for heroics in a fifth DIE HARD. But the series has seen him go from the confines of Nakatomi Plaza to saving the whole country from tech-terror. What next, rescue Earth?
No idea, and Bruce isn’t spilling specifics, but there is a script. Willis tells MTV: “It’s probably going to happen in 2011. We have a script. They’re making a couple changes right now.”
