Hank Azaria talks Gargamel, shows off his newly shaved head

JoBloJoBlo

Filming has begun for THE SMURFS and Hank Azaria is prepared.

Azaria plays Gargamel in the upcoming live action/CGI film. MTV caught up with the actor during a red carpet for DATE NIGHT.

“This is partially Gargamel,” Azaria says of his freshly shaved head. “This is for Gargamel; it saves me about an hour in the [makeup] chair.” He also goes on to say that when finished with make-up he looks just like the Gargamel from the cartoon.

MTV also fails at an attempt to get Azaria to share his voice styling for the character. I’m glad he decides to save it.
