Eva Mendes has signed on to co-star with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming cop comedy THE OTHER GUYS. Formerly titled THE B TEAM, the film will star Wahlberg and Ferrell as a couple of mismatched cops in New York City. Also joining the cast are Michael Keaton and Damon Wayans, Jr. (DANCE FLICK). Adam McKay, who has worked with Ferrell on STEP BROTHERS, TALLADEGA NIGHTS and ANCHORMAN, has been busy re-writing the script with Ferrell and Chris Henchy and filming is scheduled to take place this fall in NYC. Mendes is currently out promoting BAD LIEUTENANT with Nic Cage. Mendes hasn’t done much comedy since 2003’s STUCK ON YOU but this isn’t her first Will Ferrell movie.
