One of my favorite early-90s skits from “Saturday Night Live” was the old “The Chris Farley Show” where a nervous Chris Farley would bumble his way through a celebrity interview mainly comprised of questions like “Remember that time…?” Zach Galifianakis’ web shorts “Between Two Ferns” is somewhat reminiscent of that premise but with a humor distinctly Zach’s own. His latest installment has his biggest guest yet in Charlize Theron. Frankly I think the joke would work better if Theron wasn’t laughing along. Play it straight as if it were a real interview going terribly wrong (like Zach) and to me it’s much better. But it’s funny just for Zach’s parts, which are damn funny. Check it out below!
