When Christian Bale dropped a ludicrous amount of weight to become a frighteningly emaciated schizophrenic in THE MACHINIST, he promised he wouldn’t attempt such drastic weight loss again as it could affect his health.
He was recently spotted on the set of the David O. Russell directed THE FIGHTER and guess what he’s done again? Become frighteningly emaciated after dropping a ludicrous amount of weight. Sure, he’s playing a drug addicted boxer, Dicky Eklund, alongside Mark Wahlberg as Mickey Ward, but, come one, the dramatic weight loss has got to stop. Dude. Seriously.
