The marketing for the Peter Jackson produced, Neill Blomkamp directed sci fi mockymentary DISCTRICT 9 is ever so slowly inching along. Earlier this month, there was a trailer, a couple of days later there was a poster and recently, some random, viral-ish poster artwork has surfaced acknowledging the film’s primary conflict – that of peaceful aliens who arrive on Earth seeking refuse and the humans who relegate them to a slum-like district. The film opens August 14th.
