Just yesterday, we told you about SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE director Danny Boyle being rumored to be tackling the next James Bond adventure now that he’s a big time, fancy pants Academy Award winning director. Turns out that rumor is bunk. You know what he’s really looking to direct next? A remake of MY FAIR LADY. Wait, what? That’s right, according to the cool peeps over at “Hollywood Insider”, Boyle is in talks with Sony about bringing Eliza Doolittle back to the big screen in all her glamorous glory. The film already has a script by Emma Thompson and given Boyle’s uncanny ability to navigate radically different genres to fantastic effect, it’s not so far fetched that he’d wanna tackle a classic musical romantic dramedy.
