What you see to the right is our first genuine look at James Cameron’s upcoming sci fi epic action adventure AVATAR, not some lamo behind the scenes shot of Cameron and star Sam Worthington making kissy face with each other. It comes courtesy of “Market Saw”, who are keeping a microscopic eye on this project. The lithe creature is the Pandoran native Na’vi. Pandora, of course, is the planet to which crippled soldier Sam Worthington travels to in order to take place in the Avatar program and essentially catalyze an uprising when he realizes how badly the Na’vi are being treated. Cameron apparently spent a lot of time making these creatures as graceful as possible. Click on the above link for tons of details. The flick opens December 18th.
