Michael Bay’s upcoming warring robots sequel TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN is guaranteed to make all kinds of mad cash at the box office. Maybe not DARK KNIGHT money – though it’s possible it might be close – but enough bank to ensure a third film is made to close out the trilogy. So, it’s not too surprising that Paramount would already have a release date in mind for a third film. You see, Garth over at “Dark Horizons” was browsing through a release schedule for Germany and noticed that they had a release date of June 29th, 2011 for TRANSFORMERS 3. If it is true, it’s probably tentative at this point and contingent on how fast Bay wants to get back to the Autobots and Decepticons after FALLEN but he seems to love the hell out of that world so maybe he’ll be itching to get back. What do you guys think?
