A Craig-less Thor

Daniel Craig
Most fanboys probably have their own ideal choice for the lead role of Norse god Thor in Marvel’s upcoming feature adaptation but apparently the studio originally had current 007 Daniel Craig in mind to portray the character. The folks over at the “IESB” recently caught up with Craig at a QUANTUM OF SOLACE press event and he mentioned that he had indeed been offered the part but turned it down joking that it’d be “too much of a power trip”, what with already portraying an iconic superspy snatch magnet. Either way, it’s an indicator of the kinda casting Marvel is thinking about. Who do you guys think they’ll want who’ll say yes? Gerard Butler? Ewan McGregor? Strike back below. THOR is set for a 2010 release.
