Danny Boyle’s SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE has been hanging in limbo for what seems like forever so we haven’t heard diddly squat about it in quite a while. Good news for the flick today, though, as Warner Bros. and Fox Searchlight are partnering to release the film in North America on November 28th.
The film is an intriguing blend of comedy, romance and drama, telling the story of an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai who’s arrested on suspicion of cheating with just one question left to answer on the Indian version of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” In an effort to prove his innocence, he recounts his life in Mumbai, which reveals the key to his sucess on the show.
