There have been a plethora of casting rumors pertaining to the villains for the next (assumed) Batman movie over the last couple of days. And we’ve tried to steer clear of them, but figure it might lead to some fun or interesting discussion on who we’d like to see tackle Batsy next.
What has been bandied around are the following (and remember, unsubstantiated rumor in absolute!):
1. Johnny Depp as The Riddler
2. Phillip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin
3. Angelina Jolie as Catwoman

Personally, I don’t really like any of these suggestions, but on the up side I doubt that any of them are really even anywhere close to being true. If you ask me, a cool villain for the next flick would be Clayface. It would be a completely different challenge and would give the movie a completely different dynamic to the last two. Failing that, I guess introducing Catwoman wouldn’t be the worst thing, but not Angelina Jolie. Right?
