Firth is Gray

JoBloJoBlo

Colin Firth has signed on to star alongside Ben Barnes (THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN) in an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY. The story follows on Gray (Barnes), a young man who becomes the subject of a painting. As the man descends into a hedonistic lifestyle, it is the portrait that begins to age and take the toll of his escapades, rather than himself. Firth will play Lord Henry Wotton, the aristocrat who corrupts Gray.

Even on a slow news day this is boring. The British sure do make some thrilling movies. I heard the budget for this thing is over 200 million dollars, so that they can cover all of the sweet car chases. Or horse and cart chases. Or whatever it was they drove back in the 1900s. You can bet your ass it’s gonna be sick!
