Remember that nineties dance song, the one with the lyrics “I like to move it, move it”? That was the song that played during my grade 7 school dance, when I used to lurk in the corner near the sour cream ‘n onion chips, watching Michelle Myers and Arthur Edwards dance amidst the flashing lights. Now those lyrics have been appropriated to the MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA poster, and it hurts. but Dreamworks has confirmed they’re trying to turn this into a franchise of SHREK proportions, with the same voice cast from the first film returning. Surprisingly, the film is eschewing a summer slot and is headed for a November 7th release.
