It’s one thing to eat manure, which I often do, but it’s another thing to star in—something I find repulsive. But that’s exactly what Ed Helms is doing, sick f*ck that he is. The comedian has signed on to star in MANURE—told you—as one of three manure salesmen in the heartland of 1960s USA. Billy Bob Thornton is his costar, as is Tea Leoni and Kyle MacLachlan. Helms plays Chet, the womanizer.

You surely know Ed as the wonderful Andy Bernard on NBC’s THE OFFICE, and he’ll be shooting a role as Ben Stiller’s co-worker in the NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM sequel later this month. Helms also has a role in the newest Eddie Murohy art film (trust me, they are) MEET DAVE, as well as a role in Jeremy Piven’s latest bid at non-Ari success in THE GOODS: THE DON READY STORY.
