Two join Persia

JoBloJoBlo

Granted, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley are not Persian or Middle Eastern, but at least they can pull the look off. I’m still not sold on Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton in the leads in PRINCE OF PERSIA: SANDS OF TIME, but the Bruck Heimer knows better than I. Oh, but wait. Why am I mentioning Molina and Kingsley? Maybe it’s because they just got cast in the epic-to-be, maybe. Molina will play Sheik Amar, who becomes a mentor to Jake’s prince. I think it’s sweet that Doc Ock is mentoring the boy who was almost Spider-man. No word on who Kingsley is playing. The film is released on July 10, 2009
