Come June 27th, when Pixar’s latest animated gem WALL-E debuts, damn near every kid in the world is gonna want their very own Wall-E. Hell, the movie hasn’t even been released yet and there’s already a demand for that impossibly adorable little bastard. With that in mind, Disney is planning on manufacturing actual, working Wall-E robots that’ll have the following specs: “10 motors for lots of movement possibilities; a remote control, for programming myriad movements and behaviors; and sensors that’ll allow him to respond to his environment in numerous ways, including obstacle, sound, and touch detection.” And, who knows, if we do end up abandoning our planet, leaving it blanketed in junk, these things might come in handy.
