When JoBlo sent his minions (us writers) the new one-sheet for THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELLING PANTS 2, he prefaced it with “someone get this up, quick!” I thought, wow, I had no idea he was so into flicks about teenage girls. Then I thought about it again and it made perfect sense. So here it is, the poster for the sequel to the movie you’ve all been waiting for. However, there is something noteworthy in this poster. When the first film came out, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel were the two big stars out of the foursome thanks to their popular TV shows, JOAN OF ARCADIA and GLIMORE GIRLS respectively. But now the other two ladies, Blake Lively and America Ferrera have replaced Amber and Alexis as queen bees, thanks to their own hit TV shows, GOSSIP GIRL and UGLY BETTY respectively. Now the movie has four significant female stars and its safe to say based on that fact alone, things at the box office are looking pretty good. Check it out BELOW.
