Coming off of her Oscar-nominated turn in JUNO, Ellen Page has signed on to headline Sam Raimi’s (hopefully) triumphant genre return. The film is called DRAG ME TO HELL and it is described as a morality tale about the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse. It sounds kinda like when my buddy Louis gave me a copy of FORCES OF NATURE for my birthday a couple of years ago. Although it was totally moral when I punched him in the head, and that was the end of it so there was no real ‘tale’ per se. Page, when not dancing through a field of wheat in the dreams of our Editor over at MovieHotties.com will next be seen clapping gracefully for Julie Christie, before playing a roller-skater in Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut WHIP IT. Sam Raimi last directed SPIDERMAN 3.
