It’s been too damn long since I’ve seen Rachel McAdams in anything other than my doomsday visions (she’s usually on top of Mount Kilamanjaro, weeping blood), so this new trailer for MARRIED LIFE sure is nice. Not only that, but it features Patricia Clarkson (THE STATION AGENT), who I’m slowly realizing is one of my favourite actresses. As for the film’s testosterone quotient, it stars Chris Cooper (BREACH) as a man who loves his wife (Clarkson) so much, that when he falls in love with another woman (McAdams), he’d rather kill his wife then watch her suffer. The only problem is that his best friend (Pierce Brosnan) is also in love with the other woman. The trailer has the quality of a dark, comedic noir, emphasis on the dark.
