A couple of days ago we showed you what Sean Penn was going to look like in Gus Van Sant’s HARVEY MILK biopic, and now it’s time to do the same for his prodigal son, Emile Hirsch. I say this because Penn just finished directing Hirsch in a career performance in the lauded INTO THE WILD (Oscar snub anyone?), and now here they are reteaming already, except now they share a screen. The picture BELOW shows Hirsch in full costume, goofy afro, glasses, and all, standing next to a pony-tailed Penn. Hirsch plays gay activist Cleve Jones, who supported Milk as he became the very first openly gay elected public official. The film has yet to have a title, but maybe they’ll pull a CLOVERFIELD and end up sticking with their original THE UNTITLED HARVEY MILK PROJECT. Hirsch can next be seen in SPEED RACER.
