HANCOCK looks great. There’s no doubt about it. Jason Bateman playing Jason Bateman still hasn’t gotten old, and Will Smith could take a dump and make it both engaging and hilarious. Today we have a couple of pictures of Hancock in his super hero get up. He looks kind of like his super power might be to pout and ride a Harley Davidson, but it looks mighty sweet. The film, directed by Peter Berg, is about a hard-living superhero (Smith) who has fallen out of favor with the public. He then enters into a questionable relationship with the wife (Charlize Theron) of the public relations professional (Jason Bateman) who’s trying to repair his image. The poster that was released a while ago was a little underwhelming, but let’s face it, Smith is just so damn good he simply wills (see what I did there?) a movie to be good. Can you imagine how much money a movie will make, where Will Smith parries verbally with a co-star like Jason Bateman? His co-star in I AM LEGEND was a CGI mutant whose best line was RAWWWR RAWR RAWR and it still made half a billion dollars. And I don’t care who you are, snarling is just snarling.
