Hey, now here’s a treat: the new trailer for HAROLD AND KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY looks pretty funny. I’m not saying that because I wasn’t expecting this to be a funny movie, but because it’s so rare that comedy trailers are any good, at least not those of the green-band variety. Admittedly the plot for this one seems lame (but then again so was basing a movie on a quest for hamburgers) but the whole suspected terrorist storyline gives us what seems to be greatly amusing parts for DAILY SHOW alumni Rob Corddry and even Ed Helms. The writers for this flick played the race card with this one, and it looks like they won big. I’ll tell you what I don’t like though—actors playing current presidents, never funny.
