It appears the makers of NIM’S ISLAND have tapped into my fantasy well, because there it is on the brand new poster: Abigail Breslin bearing a massive blade. Oh, how I’ve longed for this moment, and here it finally is! My second greatest fantasy was to see what Gerard Butler would look like in Indiana Jones’ hat, and lo behold, that heart-wrenching image graces this poster as well. If this movie wasn’t about a young girl who lives with her scientist father on an island and communicates with the reclusive author of the book she’s reading, I might’ve actually considered seeing it. For now I’m perfectly content staring at the poster with tears streaming endlessly down my face.
