Here comes a poster for a highly out-of-the-blue movie, for me anyway. It’s called THE WALKER and is directed by the legendary Paul Schrader. What provides him with legendary status, you none cinephile you? Well as you can see from the poster, he directed AMERICAN GIGOLO, and on top of that wrote TAXI DRIVER. In fact, THE WALKER is apparently the last installment in Schrader’s “night worker” series, after DRIVER, GIGOLO, and 1992’s LIGHT SLEEPER. WALKER stars Woody Harrelson as a gay professional escort for older socialite women, who is charged with a murder. It’s got an impressive cast that includes Willem Defoe as a Senator and Conan O’Brian as JFK III, I shit you not. Or rather, Wikipedia shits you not. The film will be out later this month.
