More Trailer Trash

Yep, we’ve heard about Eli Roth’s ambitious new project, TRAILER TRASH and now it appears that he wants us to be constantly thinking about it, since for the second time in a week I’m reporting on the thing. MTV caught up with him to talk a little about the project: “Originally I was going to do it with a bunch of other directors, but now as I’m writing it, I don’t want to share it. I want to shoot them all myself. I’m going to be directing the feature – in certain cases, we might make a rare exception, like Edgar Wright … But really only in one or two cases; otherwise I’m going to be directing the film.” Yeah, if I were making a film like this – or any other, come to think of it – I’d definitely want an Edgar Wright moment. Hopefully he’ll bring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost with him. Apparently, Roth ‘accidentally’ gave away a minor plot point, when he later let slip “Okay, you got it out of me. There’s going to be a scene where a guy gives [a zombie] weed, and the zombies get the munchies.” It’s a novel idea, I guess. And until I hear something really terrible, I’m in support of this flick.
