In case you don’t know, 100 FEET isn’t a film about 50 dudes running somewhere, or the distance that I am legally allowed to be from Mary Elizabeth Winstead. No, it’s a horror flick from writer/director Eric Red, about a young woman (Famke Janssen) who is released from prison on probation for the murder (in self defence) of her violent husband. This is contingent on her going all Shia Labeouf and wearing an electronic ankle bracelet keeping her essentially under house arrest. Things turn bad however, when we realise that her dead husband, now a malevolent ghost, is still in the house and wants revenge.
Apart from starring the lovely Famke Janssen, there is also a part in the movie for probably the greatest actor of his or any other generation, John Fallon.
