The latest entry in the forefather of contemporary torture porn, SAW IV, is just about two and a half months away from locking us into an elaborate torture trap and reveling in our attempts to break free, which means, of course, that marketing media for the film will soon be released on a near exponential rate leading up to the film’s premiere. Kicking off this onslaught of delightfully gruesome media is the teaser, which Yahoo has been so kind as to debut. Like the franchise’s previous teasers, it’s a mostly atmospheric, non-revealing glimpse into Jigsaw’s latest – SPOILER – presumably beyond the grave attempt to punish unappreciative sinners, in this case SWAT Commander Rigg.
