JLA stuff!

JoBloJoBlo

IESB seem to believe that they’ve snagged a doozie of a scoop, relating to the impending JLA movie. They’ve claim to have sorted out this whole CGI/motion capture controversy and even have the name of the dude who’s going to step into Superman’s tights!

So first of all: “Yes there will be motion capture used in the film but it will not be an all out “motion capture production.” Heavy motion capture will be used for the OMACs, the underwater sequences and such. So, all in all, this will be a traditionally made film with some motion capture characters, pretty much like every big fantasy movie these days.” Sounds good to me, plus underwater sequences are awesome.

Second of all, if these dudes are right, then the guy approached to play Supes is none other than Tom Welling (TV’s SMALLVILLE). This is of course unconfirmed at this point, but the information has allegedly been “triple checked out”. And yep, this sounds good to me. If you ain’t getting Routh, then it only makes sense to get the dude that people have already accepted as Superman on the small screen. Agreements all round? Now who the hell are we gonna get to play Batman?
