Chow as Kato?

JoBloJoBlo

A couple of days ago, we brought you the news that Seth Rogen was possibly about to write and star in a GREEN HORNET movie. Now the plot appears to have thickened as it has emerged that he wants writer/director/actor/dancer Stephen Chow (KUNG FU HUSTLE) to play Kato.

Good idea? Well if reports are indeed true, that Rogen is trying to reverse the current trend of dark superhero flicks, then I can’t think of anyone better than Chow. But in the grand scheme of ideas? Probably not the best. As I’m sure you know, Kato is the Green Hornet’s masked sidekick and was once a role played by Bruce Lee. If Chow can recapture the magic of the first half of KUNG FU HUSTLE, I’m totally there. Or if he can jump up and kick a light bulb. That’d be cool too.
