IGN recently got the chance to catch up with Matt Damon while he was doing the BOURNE ULTIMATUM rounds. Fortunately though, IGN are a sneaky organization and as such they quickly dispensed with the BOURNE stuff, drugged him, tied him up and proceeded to squeeze him for information on his rumored involvement in the upcoming STAR TREK movie. Damon was understandably coy over the whole thing, but as IGN reported, I’m sure his reaction will have you Trekkies talking. Personally, I’ve never really been into STAR TREK, but I believe Damon could make anything great. He has that kind of regular look that makes me think he could literally play any role and not look out of place. Plus, as we know, the STAR TREK project we’re talking about is a reboot (always good in my book) and is to be directed by none other than J.J. Abrams. I think LOST is the best thing on television by a mile, but since the whole CLOVERFIELD thing has taken off his stock has gone off the chart in my eyes. Anyway, check out what Damon had to say HERE.
