I was never a huge fan of the RAMBO movies, nor was I ever a huge fan of Stallone. Sure, like everyone else I have a pathological need to get up and punch the air/run up some steps when I hear that ROCKY theme, and sure, like everyone else I still wonder what the three sea shells are for. But Stallone never really hit home with me.
Still, ever since I saw that little piece of teaser footage that the big guy forked over to AICN, I’ve gotten totally into this thing. At 62, Stallone still looks like he can whip some ass. I know, you could put Emmy Rossum in a movie nowadays and CGI could make her look like a bazooka, but I believe that Stallone is a badass. I just wish they’d given him a beard, that would’ve been the sweetener for me.
