Bob Odenkirk’s last directorial effort, LET’S GO TO PRISON, didn’t exactly make the biggest splash critically or commercially. His upcoming feature, THE BROTHERS SOLOMON, however, should fare better considering it co-stars Jenna Fischer. Am I saying Jenna Fischer is enough to make any movie infinitely watchable? Um, yeah. But the film also has going for it the fact that Will Arnett and Will Forte (who wrote the film) play the titular brothers on the hunt for a female to inseminate so their dying grandfather can pass on secure in the knowledge that his line doesn’t end with those two smiling idiots. Also, that tagline – “they want to put a baby in you” – gives me endless tickles. Click on that preggo belly to check out the red band trailer. The film’s scheduled for release September 7th.
