Next Bond director is…

JoBloJoBlo

Still to be announced. Sorry. But it has emerged that the next helmer will be either Marc Forster (FINDING NEVERLAND), Tony Scott (MAN ON FIRE), Alex Proyas (I, ROBOT) or Jonathan Mostow (T3: RISE OF THE MACHINES), Forster allegedly being the front runner. I don’t know, I’m not really a fan of the Bond films and might be the only person on the planet who didn’t love CASINO ROYALE. Personally I like Proyas for the gig, but I don’t feel that passionate about it. Tony Scott is one of my favourite directors but I don’t think his style would be a good fit for Bond (just like I doubt Tarantino’s would have been, when that idea was floating around). Marc Forster’s career seems to be flying at the moment, especially with his next effort, THE KITE RUNNER being adapted from a pretty huge book. As yet he hasn’t done any action so it would be interesting how he deals with Bond and his jumping from cranes/blowing things up. I’m all for it.
