Roth is Abomination!

JoBloJoBlo

Tim Roth First came the “blow your mind” casting of Edward Norton as the titular green behemoth in the upcoming Louis Leterrier-directed HULK sequel then came the “eh, she’ll do” casting of Liv Tyler as the not-so-jolly green giant’s love interest Betty Ross and now comes the “say whaaaaa??” casting of Tim Roth as similarly colossal Hulk uber-villain Abomination. If you were just barely paying attention to the development of this movie then, sweet baby Jesus, now’s the time perk up! The fact that they’ve managed to wrangle themselves up such a decidedly impressive cast means there’s either a small country’s GNP’s worth of cash involved or this flick ain’t half-bad. As you may recall, The Abomination is a KGB agent who deliberately exposes himself to gamma radiation but when he realizes he can’t turn off the gigantic green beasty, he decides ole Bruce Banner is to blame and goes on a vicious Hulk-obliterating rampage. Roth can next be seen in Francis Ford Coppola’s return to directing, YOUTH WITHOUT YOUTH, and Wong Kar Wai’s road trip drama MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS.
