Gosnell goes South

JoBloJoBlo

Raja Gosnell (NEVER BEEN KISSED) has signed on to the Walt Disney comedy SOUTH OF THE BORDER. The film will be live-action and set in a world where animals can talk. The story centers around Chloe, a pampered chihuahua that is used to being carried around in a purse. While on a vacation in Mexico, she somehow gets lost and is forced to find a way home.

Now, doesn’t this sound an awful lot like FLUSHED AWAY? I don’t think I’m crazy here, it does, doesn’t it? That movie didn’t exactly blow me away and it had Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet for voices. That’s Wolverine and arguably the best actress of her generation (bold statement I know, I’m just putting it out there. If you don’t like it, send it straight back). Anyway, I guess my point is that unless I am going crazy, I hope this movie intends to bag some dynamite vocal talent.
