O. Russell’s next

JoBloJoBlo

Anything David O. Russell does now is going to grab my interest immediately because I just can’t wait to see if he goes ape shit on one of his actors in the middle of a scene.

It seems like at some point in the future, he will be working on SAMMY’S HILL for Sony Pictures and Red Wagon. The ‘subversive comedy’ will be based on a book by Kristin Gore (Al Gore’s daughter) about a woman who works as a congressional aide on Capitol Hill who is at the same time trying to find the perfect guy.

In something of perhaps a mild overstatement, Red Wagon’s Doug Wick said that “It will do for Washington, D.C., what ‘Talladega Nights’ did for race car driving… We are going for a bold, subversive comedy, and David O. Russell is one of the most original voices working in comedy.”
