After being awesome in THE DEPARTED, Matt Damon is back as Jason Bourne in THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM. The movie centers around a shootout in Moscow, following which, a government agent tries to track Bourne down as he tries to uncover the final mysteries of his past.
For some reason I’m one of those people who prefers Ben Affleck to Matt Damon – not that you have to choose one or the other – but I like that their careers have gone in fairly different directions since GOOD WILL HUNTING. I do like the BOURNE films though, so I’ll definitely be checking this one out. Maybe this time he’ll kick someone’s ass with a roll of toilet paper or something.
I’m generally not a huge fan of British cinema in general (maybe because I’m British or maybe because it hasn’t been great except for a few sporadic comdies) but I’m a big fan of Paddy Considine (DEAD MAN’S SHOES) and I’m glad to see he’s part of this movie. He’s gonna be a star one day, I promise!
