Luke Wilson, Amanda Peet, Dennis Quaid, Justin Long and Chris Evans have all signed on to the CG movie TERRA. The movie is based on a short film also called TERRA (by director Aristomenis Tsirbas), which chronicles what happens when the peaceful inhabitants of another world are disturbed by the human warriors that want to colonise it.
The quintuplet join Evan Rachel Wood, Brian Cox, David Cross, James Garner, Danny Glover, Rosanna Arquette, Ron Perlman and Danny Trejo in the script by Evan Spiliotopoulos (ART HEIST) which is based on the original story by Tsirbas (in his feature debut).
This movie has to be good just because of the ridiculously eclectic mix of people involved. Ignoring all of the other outrageous combinations, bottom line is we’ve been waiting way too long for a teaming up of the guy who – while preparing to perform the mass genocide of a sewer full of mutant vampires in BLADE II – asked “They want us to spray on some suckpuppy’s nut juice?” (Ron Perlman) and the writer of POOH’S HEFFALUMP MOVIE (Spiliotopoulos). That’s a match made in heaven!
