The L.A. Times asked us
to make some overall predictions for 2007 and while I generally hate
doing those sorts of things, I was in a goofy mood when I received
the email and decided to kickstart the three molecules in my brain
and see what I might be able to come up with. The paper’s online
version posted my “predictions” along with a number of
other webheads RIGHT
HERE, but you can read mine alone below, and as per usual,
please post your OWN PREDICTIONS further below and yeah…feel free
to have fun with it!

“Fantastic Four 2” will
make more money than the original, while Jessica Alba will
remain very, very hot. -
“Hannibal Rising” will
tank and end the franchise once and for all (or until they write
another book and figure out another way to milk it for more
money) -
At least two major stars will
“come out of the closet” and one of them will even do
it willingly. -
“The Hills Have Eyes 2”
and “Hostel 2” will prove that the torture/horror
genre is running out of gas. -
“Smokin’ Aces” will
smoke our asses!! -
“Ocean’s Thirteen” will
be better received than “Ocean’s Twelve” and make more
money as well. Hoo-ha! -
“The Punisher 2” will
be better received than the original “Punisher” if
only because it’s actually being set in NY, as opposed to
Florida?? -
“Shoot ‘Em Up” will
prove that Clive Owen is an actor with great range and that
Monica Bellucci remains super-hot, no matter how many times she
plays a prostitute in movies. -
The release of “Wild
Hogs” will confirm that Hollywood is still stuck in a sad
creative funk.
