Minutes to Midnight poster will keep you up past your dead time

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Post-production has been completed on MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT, the latest from prolific filmmaker Christopher Ray (son of prolific filmmaker Fred Olen Ray), and while a release date for the movie has not yet been set, the first official poster has arrived to tide us over until then.

Directed by Ray from a screenplay by Christopher M. Don and Victoria Dadi, MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT tells the following story:

On New Year’s Eve, seven friends visit a ski lodge to celebrate the New Year. But before midnight can strike, they are systematically hunted down by a group of demented masked murderers whose cryptic agenda is more diabolical than anyone could ever imagine.

The film’s cast includes William Baldwin, Bill Moseley, Richard Grieco, Viva Bianca, Dominique Swain, John Hennigan, Christopher Judge, Bryce Draper, Aaron Aguilera, Mercy Malick, Jena Sims, Sara Fletcher, Phillip Andre Botello, and Heather Paige Cohn.

This is being promoted as William Baldwin’s horror genre debut, but I would argue that it isn’t. It’s at least his third horror movie. He was in FLATLINERS and VIRUS, and both of those count as horror.

Regardless, the film has a solid cast and an interesting synopsis. Talk of “masked murderers” makes it sound like this might be right up my slasher-loving alley, with the shot of the hulking, masked maniac above guaranteeing that this is one I’ll be paying attention to as it moves toward its release.
