Akira Yamaoka is a composer best known for his work on the “Silent Hill” video game series (he’s pretty much scored them all). Now he’s getting the chance to work with one of his idols, Dario Argento, on the Italian director’s latest film, THE SANDMAN. (We last wrote about that HERE.)
In the below video, Yamaoka talks about the inspiration he’s derived from Argento in the past, as well as the main instrument he’ll be utilizing for the soundtrack. And guess what, you can even buy his guitar if you want!
